Week 8

The tomatoes are looking good and there are a couple ripe cherry tomatoes. The peas have nearly given their last harvest and will need to be pulled out of the ground this week or next.

As you may notice the corn is getting taller (that's what happens when things grow), and the sprinklers were completely covered thus not allowing the sprayage (is that a word?) to go anywhere. So we had to extend the sprinkler poles Redneck style. Yep, that's duct tape you see. Dad and I attached another 2x2 to the end, making it another 2-3 feet taller!

Week 7

The corn is thriving. The tomatoes are 5 times the size of Mom and Dad's garden, haha...the power of sunshine!
The peas taste awesome, even though I was a little confused by the looks of the Sugar Snap peas. It looks like each pea was vacuum packed into the pod.

This week's pictures were taken by my weak camera phone (no offense Scott) so they may be a little grainy.

PS This Thursday night I went to the midnight showing of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2. However during the middle of the movie I remembered that I had left the water turned on. Yep, needless to say it got about 7 hours of water. Oooops!

Week 6

I wasn't able to water the garden much because I was in Washington D.C.
The corn is looking really good, unfortunately the weeds are too.
The pea's are a lost cause, so I'm just hopeful for whatever comes.
The potatoes look a little strange, but they're coming along. Maybe the tomatoes will lend them some strength.

Oh, and I had to weed again this week. Didn't I weed last week?!
